Regardless of the expense, Kaz doesn't take Wylan's cut of the profits back. It would be different if the ingredients were for Wylan's personal use. Given the bombs will be to the benefit of the Dregs though, Kaz isn't going to make Wylan pay for it. He's not running a charity, but he's also not one to swindle those who work for him. Besides, it's not like Kaz spends much money on himself. He wears expensive suits because he has a particular image he likes to present, but otherwise, most of his money anyway ends up invested in people and projects. Better to keep his businesses and plans rolling than to purchase a new pillow or coffee pot when the ones he has work just fine. At heart he's still a frugal, practical man.

Hearing Wylan's answer makes Kaz give a short nod as he fits the answer into the wheel spinning on his thoughts. One hand moves to lightly press at his side, bandaged beneath his shirt and waistcoat. He'll need to change the wrappings eventually. "That sounds reasonable enough. I'll let you know once the ingredients have been gathered."
