If the plant is poisonous, it has an image of a sick face next to it. If it's lethal, a skull. If it's beneficial, a smiling face. If it's edible, a dinner plate and fork.
It has a map of the forest with rough locations, though some of them are blank and accompanied by a little sketch of a flower walking by its roots.
Some of them have an iconography of ways to be broken down to serve as medicines or foods. For example, something to promote healing has a sketch of the proper parts of the plant, a mortar and pestle, an injured arm, and then a bandaged arm. A sleeping aid has the proper parts of a plant, with incorrect parts drawn off to the side in a box with a skull over it, a mortar and pestle, a boiling pot with proper ratios displayed, an image of someone drinking it, and then an image of a bed.
